Rotate many photos at once

Pictures taken on a phone or scanner often arrive turned the wrong way. Instead of opening each one in an editor, add them all here, choose the angle once and download the lot. The tool supports 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise and a half turn of 180°, plus horizontal and vertical mirroring.

Only landscape or only portrait

A mixed batch is common: some photos are upright, others lie on their side. Use “Apply to” to rotate only the landscape pictures or only the portrait ones and leave the rest unchanged. For example, scan a stack of pages where every landscape page needs a quarter turn, and the portrait pages stay exactly as they are.

Quality when rotating

Rotating by multiples of 90° does not blur or crop anything, because pixels are simply moved. The only loss comes from saving again as JPG or WebP, so the default quality is set high (95%). Keep “Same as original” to stay in the same format.

Rotate, then crop or edit

Need to trim edges after rotating? Continue with Crop Image. Want filters, text or stickers? Open the Photo Editor. For a deeper explanation of why photos appear sideways, read the full rotate guide.

Private by design

Rotation runs in your browser. No upload, no account. See the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I rotate a photo 90 degrees?

Add the photo, choose “90° right” or “90° left” and download the result.

Can I rotate multiple images at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like and the same rotation is applied to all, then download them as a ZIP.

Will rotating reduce quality?

Not for the rotation itself. Saving as JPG or WebP applies the quality setting, which is high by default.

Why is my photo sideways on a website but fine on my phone?

Phones store a rotation flag in the file. Some programs ignore it. Saving a rotated copy here bakes the correct orientation into the pixels.

Can I flip a picture like a mirror?

Yes, tick “Flip horizontal” or “Flip vertical”.

Is it free and private?

Yes. Nothing is uploaded and there is no watermark.
